The short version. Cancel whenever you like, and your site stays live until the end of the period you have already paid for. Payments are not refunded. Nothing you built is deleted.
This policy covers subscriptions to Viahly. Refunds, where they apply, are issued by us to your original payment method.
Cancelling
Go to your billing page and choose Manage billing. That opens Stripe’s customer portal, where you can cancel in a couple of clicks. You do not need to email us, and there is no retention flow designed to talk you out of it.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end your access immediately — you keep everything until the date shown on your billing page.
What happens to your site
When the paid period ends, your published site goes offline and visitors see a “not found” page. The AI planner stops too.
Nothing is deleted. Your pages, photos, schedule, RSVPs, and planner history are all kept. Subscribing again brings the site back exactly as it was — you do not rebuild anything.
Refunds
Subscription payments are not refunded. You are paying in advance for a period of service, and you keep that service for the whole period even after you cancel. We do not refund unused time, and we do not refund past periods.
Because you can build your entire site for free and only pay when you are ready to publish it, you can see exactly what you are buying before you buy it.
Billing errors are different
If we charged you when we should not have — a duplicate charge, a charge after you cancelled, or a charge on an account that is not yours — that is a mistake, not a refund request, and we will put it right in full. Email us rather than disputing it with your bank; we will sort it out faster than they will.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it over roughly two weeks. Your subscription stays active and your site stays online during that time — we are not going to take a wedding site down because a card expired. If all retries fail, the subscription ends and the site goes offline. Updating your card and subscribing again restores everything.
Price changes
If we change the price, it applies from your next renewal, never retroactively, and we will tell you first. Your billing page always shows what you are actually paying.
Your legal rights
This policy sits alongside your statutory rights as a consumer, it does not replace them. If you are in Ontario, the Consumer Protection Act gives you rights that this policy cannot take away — including, in some circumstances, a right to cancel where required information was not disclosed to you before you purchased. Consumer law where you live may give you similar rights.
How to ask
Email viahlysites@gmail.com with the email address on your account and what happened. We aim to reply within a few days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, and usually take five to ten business days to appear.
